Variety Star Shape

Nearly 100 riders will set off on Sunday, 2 November for the 12th annual Variety Postie Bike Dash, a six-day charity ride that’s aiming to raise $400,000 to support kids who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.

Mounted on their trusty Honda CT110, CT110X and NBC110 “postie bikes,” participants will take on the challenge not just for the adventure, but to change young lives along the way.

Over $24,000 in community grants will be distributed during the ride to rural schools and community groups, providing vital items like inclusive playground equipment, musical instruments and sports kits.

Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT CEO, Tony Warner, said the event is about far more than the ride itself.

“The riders’ camaraderie and commitment to their incredible fundraising efforts are what make this event such a success year after year.”

  • 8,700 primary school-aged children to attend Just Like You workshops, to cultivate empathy, acceptance and inclusivity of children with a disability.
