Each child’s journey is different, but the barriers they face impact them in deeply personal ways.

  • Without proper healthcare, many children are left without critical support.

    basic needs and the care their children require.

From Sydney to Canberra, Newcastle to the South Coast, and in communities large and small.
For over 50 years, the incredible generosity of the Variety community has supported children in need across Australia — including right here in NSW/ACT. Together, we’ve created a place families can turn to when times are tough — a place that offers practical support, hope and the opportunity for every child to thrive.
Thanks to our supporters, Children can access the equipment, programs and opportunities they need to move, learn, communicate and participate in everyday life with greater confidence and independence. We work closely with donors, partners, sponsors and volunteers across the state to ensure support reaches the children and families who need it most.

How We Help
With the support of our donors and partners, we ensure children have the best opportunity to live life to the fullest regardless of ability or background.

These are some of the ways we have granted support to kids in need this year;
Recent Grants
67 Kids
Flying Start Paediatric Service
Bringing specialist healthcare closer to home. This year, 67 children in remote communities accessed paediatric care, reducing travel, easing financial pressure and helping families access pathways to long-term support and diagnosis.

Just Like You Program
Creating more inclusive classrooms by helping students understand visible and invisible disabilities, building empathy, acceptance and a stronger sense of belonging.

Therapy Grants
Helping children access speech therapy, psychology and occupational therapy support that may otherwise be out of reach, giving families the opportunity to improve development, wellbeing and school participation.
