With help from a Variety Mobility Equipment Grant, two-year-old Huda now has a special stroller that gives her comfort, safety, and freedom. For her family, it’s meant more than mobility — it’s brought joy, dignity, and the chance to enjoy life beyond hospital walls.

Sixteen-year-old Cale has always been an adventurer at heart. He’s cheeky, enjoys listening to music and loves the great outdoors. But for much of his life, the simple act of joining in with his friends and family has come with some challenges. With their application for a Variety Grant approved, Cale received his very own Adaptive Mountain Bike just in time for a summer ride with his family through the bush.

When Taya’s wheelchair broke and she lost the independence she once knew, her support coordinator put her family in touch with Variety and they applied for a Variety Grant. Taya received a motorised wheelchair to assist with her day to day life.
